This classic short tour visits some of the most popular destinations surrounding Delhi. It includes some of India's most famous sights such as the Taj Mahal and Jaipur's Palace and Fort. It also includes a visit to a bird sanctuary in Bharatpur, providing a respite from the faster pace of India's cities.

     
   
  Itinerary  
   
 

Day 1 Delhi-Agra (230 kms) In the morning we drive by car to Agra. On arrival check in to Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort by car with an English-speaking guide. Overnight at hotel in Agra.

Day 2 Agra-Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (56 km) Continue by car to Bird Sanctuary enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival check in to the Jungle Lodge. Afternoon guided tour in the park. Overnight at the Jungle Lodge in Bharatpur.

Day 3 Bharatpur – Jaipur (179 km) Morning guided tour in the park followed by drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4 In Jaipur Morning guided tour to Amber Palace by car, taking elephant ride to the top. Afternoon guided tour by car to visit City Palace, museum, Hawa Mahal (palace of winds) and observatory. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 5 Jaipur-Delhi (230 kms) Morning drive back to Delhi by car.
