An introduction to Mountain Adventures

When we first started Mountain Adventures in 1987, our goal was to provide a higher quality of adventure tour in the Himalayas . We had been working and living in the region for years and wanted to help people have a more in-depth and interesting travel experience.

Our attention to detail ensured the tours were exciting but also safe and meticulously planned. To satisfy our clients we started to provide a whole range of tours, covering the length and breadth of the Indian Subcontinent. We have now also developed a collection of two-wheeled tours, using our extensive knowledge of the region to make sure that there is no better way for both cyclists and motorcyclists to experience this intriguing part of the world.

Unlike many tour operators our motto is: "If we don't know it we don't sell it." This means that we spend a lot of time on the road exploring new destinations, one of the pleasures of our work! It also means that you will not find yourself faced with a reality that does not meet the description you see on paper.
